About

Hello! Welcome to my neglected baby side project.

Most research blogs focus on the latest research trends and/or cool papers. That’s quite a saturated field, and there are lots of amazing bloggers out there. So this is a hodge-podge of different stuff~

Who are you?

My name is Rachel, and I am currently a PhD student at MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL). I am advised by Professor Regina Barzilay. Previously, I received my BS from the departments of Computer Science and Mathematics at MIT in June 2019 and my MEng from the department of Computer Science in June 2020.

Currently I study machine learning for biochemistry and drug discovery. Previously, I worked on natural language processing and transfer learning. In my spare time, I am also an avid photographer.

If you’d like to get in contact with me, you can email me at rmwu{at}mit.edu.
